Steal Of The Day: Cleveland CG16 Wedges $199

CLICK HERE FOR THE DEAL AT DEAL A DAY GOLFCleveland CG16 Wedges

Today’s steal of the day comes from Deal a Day Golf where you can get a full set of Cleveland CG16 wedges for $199 instead of $360. Cleveland makes some of the best wedges on the market and I still play the Tour Action 900’s that came out in 2001. If you want to hit shots that stop on a dime with a ton of backspin than the CG16 is your solution with the Tour Zip Grooves.

It’s always nice when purchasing new wedges to have a full set instead of mismatching your lob, sand wedge and approach wedges to give you that same feeling on the 130 yards and in when GIR can help immensely to shooting lower scores.

Brand New –  Three-Wedge Set of Cleveland Golf’s CG16 Satin Chrome Wedges

The CG16 Satin Chrome wedges have a slightly larger club face for added forgiveness much like the Tour-proven Cleveland CG14.

Also, the CG16s have the same face features and the conforming Tour Zip Grooves that were on the popular CG15 series!  So you’ll get the same spin-maximizing grooves made possible Cleveland’s breakthrough laser-milled surface roughness technology.

This is made possible by the precision accuracy of a laser, each face features four perfectly calibrated texture lines milled between each groove exactly to the conforming roughness limit. This surface roughness application optimizes ball-to-face friction and maximizes spin within the rules of golf.

The back of the CG16 wedge features a slight cavity with an engineered undercut to move the center of gravity low and deep and increase the moment of intertia for added forgiveness on off-center strikes. The wider “C” shaped sole has constant width from heel to toe for improved bunker performance.
